WORDS to be heard

30 04 2007

Words, arent they curious lil things ? How they can get you into trouble and get you out of trouble at the same time ??? A careless and hateful word could provoke riots. A soft and hushed word could mend relationshipships..

Recently have been thinking abt it too.. A wise man has once told me ,

Keep your eyes sharp, your ears long and your mouth short.

Recently this advice keeps popping up to my mind. And truth be told, i hate it when i have to be silent, when injustice is done and when things are not right, we MUST NOT keep quiet.

I was so pissed, cos i spoke up.

I spoke up thinking that people would have appreciated.

I spoke up thinking things could be better.

I spoke up, and was silenced.

So just when is it possible to speak up and not be silenced? Must we all become mindless people who take whatever is laid infront of us? Must I have to stay silent while i see the world slowly deterioating ?

When am i speaking too much???

When can the people actually be heard?

Must we get a licence just to go to speakers corner to be heard??

Are You being Silent ??/

Care bears.

25 04 2007

I love the care bears…

hahaha this is so  a justification of what i said of the dragon Boys.. lol..

They remind me so much of the care bears howthey use their “care bear stare… “

Grumpy Bear shows that while it’s okay to be grumpy sometimes, it is also silly to let grumpiness go too far. He is blue and his symbol is a dark raincloud with raindrops (some of which are shaped like hearts)

Dont We ALL know someone like that ???

there a LONG list that shows wad other care bears ther are.. go see and see if you can fiure out which ones are in YOUR  Life.

Love this Place… The food is marvelous, the Service tremendous… ohh.. i’m salivating just thinking about it.

Here is a place that serves Ang Moh food in a KOPITIAM. Yep you heard me right, Some SIAO ANG MOH thought of setting up a american diner at our kopitiam ! and not only that he has proceed to  open many branches too!!!

So for the past 2 sundays just before i book in to camp, i’ve been going there and eating.

A word of caution though, this place is not suitable for vegetarians.. WHy ? the Meat will make you rethink you decision to live on all things green.

Check out some pics i stole from  my bro’s blog..

Who ordered what :

Dad- Ribeye steak 300g  Med Well

Mum – cesars salad w Fish

Me- Griled Salmon

Ian- CRAZT BURGER.

Joey – Lamb chop 300g Med Well.

All- Jumpo Gumbo Soup.

Ian’s crazy burger, It has 3 x 250g beef patties! i tried one with only 1 patty and it almost gave me a heart attack.. Madness. even Ian who is an uber meat person over-estimated this crazy bugger… its moist and juicy, med rare, thank goodness… 10/10.

halfway through… Ian didn’t make it to the end… he gave up the last patty and teh fries and coleslaw

joeys- lamp chop. abit too fatty for me but they got 1 thing right. They got mint sauce. which is so important for any lamb chop.

I bet you wont finish it.

My dad’s 300g Ribeye. which he wanted well done. So i tricked him, got him a med well  instead. so much better although i would have loved med rare.  nice and juicy. with nice lil sauce by the side. it is very nice taht they put the sauce by the side just incase so poor person doesn’t want it all drizzled on the beef. keeps its taste intact.

Really you wont.

Mum’s  cesar w fish. good combi esp since she was gonna tax from all our plates.. lol..

more fatty  lamb chops…

My favourite. The grilled salmon was wonderful. The skin was just crispy… and the juices were oh so nice… a word of caution though. finish it while its hot, or else the skin loses its crispiness, and the juice will get lost into the suace making teh fish dry and tough…  but its very very good…

The last is the least. The size was big and tehy had all kinds of wonderful surprises in there like big suasages and chciken and spice and rice…  but it didn’t realli suit our taste buds.. Maybe it’ll suit yours….

Ooo.. so many Pictures!!! wow!  ok so sorry if my blog has so lil photos.. would love to start having more pics.. but no camera phones allowed!!! dang ! i need to get a digi cam man..  OK. some explanation of the pics.

Where am i now ?

24 04 2007

having been thrusted out of my nice little island resort of Pulau tekong, i have unceremoniously failed my Ippt, which i could have put in effort but no…. i had to slack and get fat…

And so, i was unable to get into command school.. despite being 4th in the platoon.  i see a special number in being 4th.

being 1st- 3rd would have swelled the egotistic head of mine so big that i couldn’t have boarded the ferry back to singapore, while being 4th assured me that i have done well enough in my platoon to have made an impact.

Now i’m in the nice Hill side getaway called Stagmont. It has been said to be Slack. so i leave it to your imagination to what nice nicks this little hilly abode of mine has been called.

Its fun, most of the poeple came from the same company back in tekong, Dragon Company, which were the home of the moderate obese. Moderate obese are like the care bears…  and the sever obese like teletubbies… and the mild obese like athletes with moobs on them go figure

Aniwae, the life i live here is tremendous.

Imagine  a day where you wake up to have breakfast, go back to sleep again, then get up to change to an aircon room, where you proceed to fall asleep again. Until, you get so guilty of sleeping as the melodious voices call you to sleeep… once again..

OK.  thats just my morning . and i shall await another thing where i enthrall the rest of the world with the rest of my program.
