I’m havinga terrible time cant seem to sleep…
Aniwae, few weeks ago i found 3 sets of small claypots under my sink.
And so started my claypot frenzy. from instant noodles all the way to rice.
Everything..
Love it especially how i get the crispy burnt clumps of rice at the bottom of the claypot and so crunchy and delicious.
So Today i wanted to eat Kimchi noodles. But aren’t they unhealthy ?? just plain carbs??? Why not spice it up a notch ? and make more nutritious ?
How?
Add veggies!!! and egg!!!
Heres the recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 med onion*chopped
- 3-4 leafs of wong bok *chopped
- kimchi instant noodles (Korean Ramyeon type)* red colour packing.
- Egg (optional)
remember not to chop it too fine or else you cant taste your veggies
Procedure
- Boil water in claypot
- Add Onions [ add more water if needed]
- Add wong bok [ enuf water ???]
- bring down fire to small fire.
- Add the noodles and dries kimchi 1st.
- Then add the seasonings (flavouring)
- before the noodles are too soft, drop down an egg into the claypot.
- Cover and simmer at low fire
- Serve!!!!
WARNING:
Use a coaster when putting down the claypot, you dont want to burn a hole in your mum’s wooden furniture.
